I've always thought that.

but I think most people think family pictures = 

torture

dread

boring

bossed around

tears

new clothes and hair sprayed hair

stress

chaos

....

all of the above.

But you know what? 

I love taking family pictures.

They hardly ever turn out perfect, but I love it when 

I get to see everyone's relationship,

silly faces,

quirks and poses.

I try to make family photos a fun process,

I try to MAKE a moment and capture it,

rather than pose it.
